Insights is an AIR-developed, evidence‑based process that helps secondary schools use data to identify student needs, deliver timely and targeted supports, and track whether those interventions are working. Drawing on more than a decade of AIR research on dropout prevention, chronic absenteeism, and early warning systems, it guides school teams through a continuous, cyclical approach to spotting risk factors early and improving how supports are allocated and monitored so students receive the help they need when they need it. The Summer Institute is designed for school and district teams to attend together and leave with plans to implement these principles tailored to their local contexts and student needs.
